Calculate Bin Size
To calculate the size of the skip bin for your requirements, just add the width x height x depth/length of your waste – the result will confirm the cubic metres required.
Our smallest bin at 2 cubic metres is equivalent to 8 wheelie bins or 2 standard trailers. For general household clean-ups our customers generally require a 3 cubic metre or 4 cubic metre bin. This is equivalent to 12 or 16 wheelie bins and 3 or 4 standard trailers.
Depending on the type of renovation or cleanup that you are looking to do, we can provide the best advice regarding the type of bin most people generally require:
Kitchen Replacement – 2m
Investment Property Renovation – 4m
Moving Home/General Cleanup – 3m or 4m
Which Bin?
2m^3 = 8 Wheelie Bins or 2 x Single Axle Trailers (L – 1900, W – 1600, H – 900)
3m^3 = 12 Wheelie Bins or 3 x Single Axle Trailers (L – 2650, W – 1600, H – 950)
4m^3 = 16 Wheelie Bins or 4 x Single Axle Trailers (L – 3300, W – 1600, H – 950)
6m^3 = 24 Wheelie Bins or 6 x Single Axle Trailers (L – 3700, W – 1600, H – 1300)
